The t-shirts have finally been consigned to the wardrobe as parts of Tasmania experienced their "second coldest" July temperatures on record. We needed the cold, it's an important part of the seasonal change that many plants rely on to trigger their next stage, including black truffles, one of which we recently acquired for an experimental truffled stout. Only sixty bottles were produced and the thirty we took to Harvest Launceston last weekend sold out very quickly. We're now down to the last half dozen so if you're keen you'll need to text Willie (number below) to arrange pre-payment for a bottle to collect at the cellar door or Harvest Launceston this weekend. After our family wedding break and other trading disruptions in June we've returned to find the craft beer world in chaos and discounting happening just about everywhere we look. During July we're trading 3pm to 5pm Friday to Sunday and mail orders are despatched at least twice weekly.
