Seventeen years
|
Seventeen years is a long time for a small business and we've had all sorts of ups and downs as you can imagine. The last few weeks have been particularly frustrating: we started receiving disgruntled messages from dismayed mail list subscribers about an online promotion that we didn't generate (!) which locked us out of the back end so couldn't fix anything for a while. We're pretty sure everything is back to safety now and hoping we haven't lost too many subscribers as a result of the hack.

We couldn't send a timely newsletter to promote our hop harvest, so here it is with less than 48 hours to go.
|

This Sunday 2 March (AUTUMN, can you believe it?) we'll have Neil Gray entertaining us while pickers harvest our cascade hops. Help pick if you like (you may score a free beer or brattie) or just enjoy the ambience.

Music from midday to 4pm, food until it runs out, beer until 6pm. It's looking like a sunny afternoon. We'll have bratties on the BBQ, maybe a toastie or two and something vegetarian / vegan if you're in early.

We've also discounted Mole Kriek. It's a very lovely beer but it's moving slowly and we're keen to create space for something new.
